Amy Smith is the senior programmer of the North Little Rock branch of Northwest Controls which services most of Arkansas and northern Louisiana. She develops custom Direct Digital Controls programming and graphics for the computer interfaces to the Alerton building automation system provided by NWC. Some additional roles include assisting third party commissioning groups in commissioning of projects, troubleshooting and diagnosing service and warranty calls, and training new and existing customers. Prior to her past 12 years with NWC, she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education at the University of Central Arkansas with emphasis in mathematics and the sciences. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel and their dogs. They enjoy spending time outdoors with their friends; especially enjoying Arkansas rivers and lakes.
